Australian swimmer Brett Hawke was at his chiseled best leading into the 2006 Commonwealth Games and I was keen to nab him for a portrait to run as a sport cover.
With a crane hoisting Hawke no less then five metres high off the ground, he posed bravely on an old fashion anchor down in front of the historic Polly Woodside ship.
One Elinchrome light used on full power hits him hard from a scaffold we got built for the shoot. (Copyright Michael Dodge/Herald Sun)
